Pride events happening around San Jose including Newark Pride tonight
In-person events may still be limited, but it’s not 2020 folks. Various South Bay spots are hosting in-person Pride events this month, as well as virtual events. Hoodline has compiled a partial list of some of the most significant occurring in the region. And stay tuned for Pride of Silicon Valley, coming at the end of August!
Friday June 11: Newark Pride Driving Parade, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The City of Newark’s inaugural Driving Pride Parade will be held at the Silliman Center, 6800 Mowry Ave., Newark. There will be prizes, a photo booth and more. Pre-registration is required; $ 10 per car. More information: www.facebook.com/events/528757305158528
Saturday June 12: San Mateo County Virtual Pride Celebration, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
