Municipal swimming pool, the opening weekend of Bosque Memorial Day in San Angelo
SAN ANGELO – The municipal swimming pool and the Bosque will open Saturday for the summer season in downtown San Angelo.
Here’s a look at what’s going on with San Angelo Parks this weekend and an update on Memorial Day closures Monday:
The municipal swimming pool, 18 E. Ave. A, opens Memorial Day weekend, with public swimming from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Admission is $ 5 for children 3 to 64, free for children 2 and under, and $ 3 for people 65 and over.

The Bosque, 330 S. Irving St., opens Memorial Day weekend for the summer season. Credit and debit cards are the only accepted payment method for rentals and concessions. Cash not accepted.
The Bosque will be open Monday, May 31 for the Memorial Day holiday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. After this weekend, normal hours of operation will be Wednesday to Saturday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. for the rest. of the summer season.

- Monday-Tuesday: closed
- Wednesday-Saturday: 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
The last equipment rental opportunity at La Bosque will take place one hour before closing.
Nasworthy Lake Parks
Day passes for Middle Concho and Spring Creek Parks at Nasworthy Lake are available at their gateways for $ 3 per vehicle for city residents and $ 6 per vehicle for non-residents. Camping permits cost $ 6 per campsite per night for city residents and $ 12 for non-residents. Permits can be purchased at the front gates or at Spring Creek Marina. Dollar bills over $ 20 will not be accepted at the lake gates.
Remembrance Day exercises to honor the country’s military will take place at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 31, in front of the headquarters building at the eastern end of the parade ground. The program is organized by the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Members of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans and the Fort Concho Living History Program will deliver commemorative artillery salutes and rifle salutes.
Fort Concho will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Memorial Day for self-guided tours. For more information, call Fort Concho at 325-481-2646.
COVID-19 reports from Saturday to Monday will be released on Tuesday, June 1.

- Southside and Carl Ray Johnson Recreation Centers
- Seniors Centers Station 618 and Santa Fe Crossing
There will be no interruption in garbage collection or landfill operations.
City offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1.
