Masked men with knives broke into house and stole American Pitbull

Masked cutlers have stolen an American Pitbull in a terrifying raid on a Staffordshire home. Police are appealing for witnesses after the heartbreaking incident in the West Midlands.

Two men accessed the house from the area through a back patio. They brandished knives and threatened the owners of the dog.

The incident happened in the Newchapel Road area of ​​Kidsgrove. A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “We are requesting information about a stolen American Pitbull from an address in Kidsgrove. We have been called to a property off Newchapel Road following reports of an aggravated burglary.

“It is reported that two men entered the property through a rear patio door. Both men threatened the victims with a knife and conducted a disorderly search of a bedroom. Both attackers left the address with the dog.

“The owners of the dog were shaken after the incident. If you were in the area at the time and have CCTV footage that could assist police in their investigation, please contact us.”
