How to Craft Throwing Knives in Dying Light 2 Stay Human
Having the right tools and equipment in your inventory is key to surviving a deadly encounter in Dying Light 2 Stay Human. One of the many tools you’ll want to use in the game is throwing knives. These are weapons that you can use in your off-hand during or before a fight that you can send flying to your opponents. Depending on the type of knife you throw, they are effective at temporarily distracting something or causing a status effect against them. Here’s what you need to know about crafting throwing knives in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.
Before you can craft throwing knives, you will progress through the game and arrive at the plague markers story quest. Traditionally, you want to collect them from a master craftsman. You can find a master craftsman in settlements who can improve your blueprints and provide some that you may not have. While you can find additional variations of throwing knives with master crafters, the basic blueprint becomes available when you complete this story quest. If you don’t have it yet, keep playing Dying Light 2.
Now with the knife throwing blueprint unlocked, go to your crafting page and you should find them on the crafting list. You will need 10 pieces and a rag to craft one. These weapons deal 10 damage, have a light enemy hit reaction, and produce two throwing knives to use each time you craft one.
You can find additional variants of Throwing Knives when speaking with Master Crafters, such as Infected Blades that damage an opponent over time. Be sure to speak with any new artisans you find to see what they have for sale.
